1st International Orchid Show
Following the success of the first show, the second Kuching International Orchid Show 2013 (2nd IOS 2013) was held on 5-8 September 2013
at DBKU Orchid Garden and was officiated by  the then Chief Minister of Sarawak, YAB Tun Pehin Sri Taib Mahmud.
Participants from 12 countries namely Ecuador, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, The Phillipines,  Brunei, China, Vietnam and Malaysia, took part  in the 2nd IOS in 2013
“Ragad Taib” orchid was launched and revealed to the public during the 2nd IOS 2013
It was estimated that around 11,000 people visited the  2nd IOS 2013.
